Unser Ansatz für Nachhaltigkeit

Nachhaltigkeit wird zu einem immer zentraleren Bestandteil unseres Handelns bei APG Europe. Als verantwortungsbewusstes Unternehmen arbeiten wir daran, nachhaltige Praktiken fest in unserer Unternehmensführung und entlang unserer Wertschöpfungskette zu verankern.

Dank unserer seit 2023 etablierten ESG-Datenerfassung und unserem klaren Bekenntnis zu verantwortungsvollem und ethischem Unternehmertum können wir für die kommenden Jahre konkrete strategische Prioritäten definieren. Dabei bleiben Qualität und Branchenkompetenz die wesentlichen Merkmale, die APG auszeichnen.

Diese Entwicklung wurde kürzlich mit einer EcoVadis Silver Medal gewürdigt und bestätigt unser kontinuierliches Engagement sowie die Fortschritte, die wir auf unserem Nachhaltigkeitsweg erzielen.

Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie

Im Jahr 2025 hat APG eine einfache Wesentlichkeitsanalyse (Single Materiality Assessment) als Grundlage für seine Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie durchgeführt. Gemeinsam mit Schulungen und der aktiven Einbindung der Mitarbeitenden stellt dies einen wichtigen Schritt dar, um unsere Geschäftstätigkeiten an internationalen Nachhaltigkeitsstandards auszurichten.

Im Rahmen dieser Wesentlichkeitsanalyse wurden Nachhaltigkeitsthemen hinsichtlich ihrer potenziellen positiven oder negativen Auswirkungen auf die Geschäftstätigkeit von APG Europe sowie ihrer Relevanz für unsere Stakeholder bewertet. Der Prozess umfasste Nachhaltigkeitsschulungen und drei gezielte Workshops mit dem Management von APG, um Marktentwicklungen und ESG-Daten besser zu analysieren und einzuordnen.

Darüber hinaus trugen Feedbackrunden mit wichtigen Lieferanten sowie eine unternehmensweite Umfrage mit einer Rücklaufquote von 80 % dazu bei, die Ergebnisse zu validieren und zu untermauern.

Wir verfolgen das Ziel, verantwortungsvoll zu handeln, Innovationen zu fördern und langfristigen Mehrwert für Menschen, Umwelt und unser Unternehmen zu schaffen.

Reporting and transparency

APG uses the GHG Protocol as methodology for emission accounting, answering to the demands of the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive for sustainability reporting.

What do we report?

APG Europe monitors and reports environmental data to Indutrade Group on a yearly basis.

Our environmental data includes water consumption, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions in the categories Business travel by air, Upstream transportation, Purchased goods, and Waste, which are deemed material for us within the Indutrade business group. The social data includes, workforce diversity and inclusion metrics, employee health and safety statistics, training and development participation rates, employee turnover, and incidents related to ethics and compliance.

In addition, we report and monitor our progress in relevant key performance indicators defined by Indutrade Group and by our materiality assessment.

Indutrade Employee Code of Conduct

It sets forth the principles and guidelines that employees must follow to maintain a professional and ethical work environment. This document ensures that employees' actions and behaviors are in line with Indutrade's core values and ethical standards.

Indutrade Business Partners Code of Conduct

It outlines the expectations and standards that suppliers must adhere to when conduction business with Indutrade companies. This document ensures that suppliers operate in a manner that aligns with Indutrade's values and ethical standards.

Indutrade Group Annual Report

It reports what Indutrade has achieved in the fiscal year. APG Europe belongs to the Life Science business area of Indutrade Group.

Indutrade Group Sustainability Statement

As part of the integrated Annual Report, this section showcases the progress of Indutrade's Sustainabillity targets and KPIs in line with the CSRD and the CSDDD regulations.
